Nicholas Preusch

Nick Preusch, CPA, JD, LLM, is a Tax Manager at PBMares, LLP, specializing in complex tax compliance, international and non-profit taxation, and tax ethics. He previously served as a Revenue Agent and Attorney with the IRS Office of Professional Responsibility. Nick holds degrees from Carthage College (BS), University of Connecticut (MA), Case Western Reserve University (JD), and Georgetown University (LLM in Taxation). A published author and national speaker on tax ethics and IRS procedures, he co-authored Tax Preparer Penalties and Circular 230 Enforcement (Thomson Reuters). Nick teaches as an adjunct professor at the University of Mary Washington and has been recognized among the VSCPA Top 5 Under 35 and CPA Practice Advisor’s Top 40 Under 40.
