HUD Multifamily 101 Boot Camp 2026: Foundations, Recertifications & Rent Adjustments
HUD Multifamily compliance is no longer just about completing forms and meeting deadlines. Today's housing professionals must navigate an increasingly complex regulatory environment shaped by HOTMA implementation, evolving HUD guidance, increased oversight, and growing financial pressures on affordable housing communities.
Many professionals understand pieces of the process but struggle to connect the entire picture. Staff may know how to complete a recertification but not fully understand the regulations behind it. Managers may oversee operations but lack insight into how funding, rent adjustments, and compliance requirements work together. As a result, properties face avoidable findings, inconsistent practices, revenue loss, and increased operational risk.
The HUD Multifamily Compliance & Operations Boot Camp 2026 was designed to bridge those gaps.
This comprehensive three-part training series takes participants on a structured journey through the most critical areas of HUD Multifamily administration:
How HUD works → How compliance is maintained → How property revenue is protected
Led by nationally recognized HUD compliance expert Rhanda McKown, this boot camp delivers practical guidance, operational strategies, and compliance-focused instruction that participants can immediately apply to their properties.

PART 2: HUD Recertifications 2026: Annual and Interim - Master the Most Critical Compliance Function at Your Property

Recertifications directly impact subsidy payments, tenant rent calculations, and regulatory compliance.
Even minor errors can create significant financial and compliance consequences.
This advanced compliance session provides step-by-step guidance on managing Annual Recertifications (ARs) and Interim Recertifications (IRs) under current HUD and HOTMA requirements.
